Report of suspicious device closes S. Eugene street

Eugene police are checking out a report of a suspicious device and have closed 27th Avenue between Alder and Hilyard.
A spokeswoman said officers are checking to see if the report is real or not.
Harris Elementary School is aware the street is closed but are not in lock down. The school is located a few blocks southeast of the incident.
