Eugene school participates in peace project

More than 500 students from O'Hara Catholic School participated in Pinwheels for Peace.  The students created colorful pinwheels with a personalized design on one side and a written personal peace act that they will do on the other.  On September 21st, 2010, they planted those pinwheels in front of the school in hopes of spreading the message of peace around the world.  If you would like to learn more about the Pinwheels for Peace program you can visit their website here.

Speaking in the video attached to this blog are O'Hara Catholic School Principal Tammy Conway and Student Body President Josh Christian.
